What is Scalt?
Scalt is a French platform for governed, sovereign AI agents. It lets mid-sized and large companies deploy AI agents on their own data, with human approvals and an audit log. Data is hosted in a cloud in France and is never used to train models. Scalt is designed for GDPR and AI Act compliance. Scalt is a French SAS founded on December 19, 2025 in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, in the Lille metropolitan area.

In France. The platform, your documents and their backups are hosted in France, on a platform operated by Scalt.
The security pageIs our data used to train models?
No. Your data is not used to train models, per Scalt’s contractual commitment and its providers’ terms.
The security pageWhich AI models do you use?
The ones you approve: you choose your model providers, for example Claude, GPT, Mistral, Gemini or Llama. Personal data is anonymised before any model call.

Each agent reads only what it is allowed to read, following the access rights of your sources. Access to data is limited and logged.
The security pageWhat happens to a document we remove?
It is purged from the index within 24 hours. Retention periods are set source by source.
The security pageDo agents act without oversight?
No. You define the approval steps: an action subject to approval stops and waits for your go-ahead, and every run is traced in Cases.
